Day 7: BossChix Network 31 Day Goal-Getter Challenge

Word of the day is Focus. Rich Dad, Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki calls it F.O.C.U.S (follow one course until successful). For at least 90 minutes today get rid of the distractions and concentrate on getting the right things done and being productive. Resist the urge to check Facebook, Instagram, email, and other “weapons of mass distraction”.

This speaks to me because I always have a ton of things to do and get distracted at the same time. I guess FOCUS should be my winning word.

I love this. Focusing on one thing is sometimes challenging, I have tons of work to do and yet when I’m ready to do it I ways get side track lol.

I know that I really need to focus on one thing at a time sometimes and not get distracted. But I’m terrible. Either I get hyper focused and tune out everything else, or I let everything distract me. I need to find a happy medium.

Short, very important and excellent advice. The ability to focus is a force within itself. Thank you for confirming the power of focusing.

“Weapons of mass distractions” I LOVE that! Yes, social media eats up your time. Thanks for that tip.

When I sit down and focus and block everything out and turn off social media I’m able to get a lot more work done. I love the focus when I’m working because I feel more productive.

Lol, I was on ALL social media channels way too much today. I guess that is the downer of being active on social media channels for a blog and having a career in it too.

I feel as though if I don’t check my social media stats the the world may fall apart lol. I am currently reading one of Robert’s investment books. I saw that one you referred to but wondered if its any good?

I did a digital detox last week for “National Unplugging Day” and I had to delete some social media apps from my phone! It’s crazy how I can just unlock my phone and go to the apps without even realizing it.

I love this! I do have a lot of distractions that I need to get away from. My phone, for starters.
